Key Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen the internal compliance processes, draft internal policies and advising on regulatory & contract management procedures aligning with local requirements.
- Leading risk assessments of advising on major risks and liabilities.
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing and approving legal documents including NDAs, Agreements, Service & Supplier Agreements, Consultancy & Employment Contracts, MoUs, leases etc.
- Overseeing dispute resolution matters, including selection, fee negotiation and instruction of external counsel & advising company leadership on potential outcomes based on legal advice.
- Conduct a risk assessments and 3rd party evaluations for clients, partners, subcontractors and suppliers
- Managing legal entities setups, corporate governance and statutory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in business law from reputable university.
- 3-5 years’ in private practice and/or in reputable fintech experience
- Proficient in operating Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.
- Skilled in legal research, contract drafting, contract negotiation, due diligence and corporate governance.
- Deep understanding and knowledge in CBUAE Payment and/or SVF regulation and Card Schemes rules
